How do you explain the difference between the hyper globalist and the sceptical views of the process of economic globalisation?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Hyper Globalist vs Skeptical view of hyper globalization

Both are contrarian beliefs where Hyper globalist is from the school of thought that globalization is happening at a rapid pace which is leading to international capitalism. This will give way to form a global homogeneous culture and can erode the traditional practices. Hyper globalist is a western school of thought.

On the other side, skeptical view belief that globalization is largely exaggerated, and the consequences have more evil than good. These individuals want to conserve local cultures and values. Communities from this school of thought believe that globalization will lead to a vulgar and alien culture.

In recent times, there has been tremendous slowdown in globalization. With the recent trade tariffs and trade war between US and China, many countries and political leaders have deglobalization as a propaganda to avoid economic destruction and culture preservation for their countries. Highly prevalent in many European and Latin American countries.
