Discuss what Max Weber's views added on organization theory. Explain why his theory is not working in today’s organizations and how to solve it?
Max Weber's views added on organisation theory in the following
way.
He explained a Bureaucracy structure which is called Max weber's
theory.
Division of labour means the work should be divided into parts and
given to the labours as per their specialisation.
Hierarchy authority means all the managers are assigned some task
and they are responsible to complete the work.
The framework of rules means all the work should be directed and
coordinated under the prescribed rules.
Impersonality means hiring and promoting the people on the basis of
their skills and objective instead of favouritism.
Formal selection means all the candidates are selected on the basis
of their competency, qualification, training and education.
His theory is not working in the present organisation because
nowadays the organisation work is very dynamic and they want quick
response and they don't believe on the fact that they can handle
the inefficient employees for a long time, therefore, they can
select on the basis of the pre-assigned labour providing
consultancies and they can work as per their requirements so the
best solution in today's world is to assign the task with the
collaboration of some organisations and the person who is ready to
provide the Consultancy Services as per the specialisation and
efficiency of the labours.
