Roger should handle the situation in good manner that is, the care which is given to patient must be equal and should follow the equality, privacy, respect ,safety, dignity, independence, confidentiality. First of all ,he should give care for the patient to whom he was giving care before his bestfriend arrives, because as a nurse , all patients are equal and each patient has his own problems and rights. As a nurse roger can't give care to patient according to hos interest. A characteristic of good nurse is one that shows empathy to each patient, making their true effort to put themselves in their patient's care. Also problem solving skill are essential , in which nurses generally have the most one-to-one time with patients and often responsible for decision-making related to care.
