1)You should suppose that you are managing or participating in an existing firm (e.g., Apple, Samsung, Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Volkswagen, Exxon Mobil, any other small- and medium-sized firms, and so on) and you are responsible for assuming a project through which this firm would become more digital than now.

Expert Solution

I am responsible for assuming a project through which Volkswagen will become more digital than it is now.

Thus as the car sales are already downhill because of the pandemic, going digital will prove very beneficial to increase sales in the long run. The firm can increase the use of Artificial Intelligence in order to give customers a first hand experience of sitting in a car and visualizing how the layout is, as people will be reducing contact and social distancing this will go a long way in increasing sales in the long run cause just by sitting at home, they will get the first hand experience of how is the speed, mileage by seeing videos supplied by the manufacturer and will be able to make an educated guess.

This will reduce the overhead costs such as keeping a showroom, with this project at just a click of a button, one is able to experience the virtual visit. Plus the car could be delivered at home and all the transactions could be undertaken safely through digital means.

Secondly going digital and maintaining a social media platform will help customers engage with the staff and get timely updates regarding upgradations and more the number of tags, more will be the indirect marketing at minimal costs and this will lead to increase in visibility and sales.
