Expert Solution

The lack of ethics in government has been on show for sometime now in quite a few administrations. During the Clinton era too this was on show through several scandals marring the presidency. This presidency has been an extreme example with resignations and scandals occuring very often. The scandal with Russia has been a major problem in recent months with corruption to coming to a head in government. There is a ethical drop in the government in recent times with multiple resignations. The National Security Advisor resigned because of his involvement with Russia, Tom Price also had corruption charges of his own causing him to resign. There has thus been clear corruption issues in government with focus on personal goals and enhancement of wealth. This has been an issue especially so in this administration. There has clearly been a decline in the ethical focus in governent in recent times. There jury is no longer out on that.
