What is the correct line of thinking in dealing with a statics problem where one must determine the resultant force from multiple vectors using a unit triangle instead of cos and sin; ie. how do you use a unit triangle?
Solution:
The correct line of thinking is that the "a vectors include
direction and magnitude, so that vector addition through unit
triangle is simple addition of vectors from initial to final by
connecting tail end
arrow head
tail end
arrow
head and so on.
Similarly,
if there are multiple vector like A, B , C, D, E.....
R = A + B + C + D+ E +.......
The resultant will be the vector addition of all the vectors. The line connecting the tail point of initial vector and arrow head of final vector represent the resultant vector.
I hope you understood the problem and got your answers, If yes rate me!! or else comment for a better solutions.
