US remains the biggest economy in the world (although China has overtaken us if counting by PPP)
US has the most powerful army and navy
US is the home of the best universities in the world especially if we talk about graduate programs
The most educated and entrepreneurial people come here more than to any other country
If you think about the companies that have changed your life in the last 30 years: Apple, Google, Amazon, Windows - most of them are based in the USA
US remains one of the best places to start your own business
By number of inventions and patents US leads the world.

The political system is becoming more polarized and unstable
