Explain the positive and negatives of the health care system in the U.S.
Pros:
--Repeals individual mandate, thus helping all of the people according to class level
--Providing the democrats the chance to expand their government.
--Targets to reduce federal deficit in the long run
--No payment fee required for those who do not have insurance
--Permitting insurance services to provide insurance across state lines by decreasing the plans’ costs
--No discrimination against individuals with pre-existing conditions
Cons:
-- Does not include universal coverage, thus the people who do not get covered by insurance will increase as time goes on.
--The replacement healthcare plan would be more costly to poor and older people
--The proposal introduced by Republicans would allow insurance companies to charge higher premium from older adults five times what they charge the young
--Age-based credit will replace tax credit, and as a result there will no longer be medical expansion and pocket assistance
--Limiting federal funds for supporting the Medicaid expansion decreases the federal deficit; however it happens at the expense of people’s ability to access much-required health care
--Cutting funds for Planned Parenthood will occurs at the expense of people’s health
