What are some of the predicted long‑term effects of global warming? Pick each one! Thank you!!
Rising sea levels will threaten coastal civilizations.
Precipitation rates will decrease sharply worldwide.
Ocean acidification will reduce populations of marine species.
Changes to ecosystems will increase biodiversity worldwide.
People will have greater access to freshwater.
global warming is the biggest environmental issue happening nowadays. when the ice melts, sea levels rise 0.12 inches per year. this affect coastal civilizations. through inundation and increased erosion will be damaging the coastlines. agricultural soil Contaminations, habitat loss , wetland flooding etc.. are mainly happen when global warming increases. ocean acidification impacts on fisheries and tourism. it affects food supply. the planktonic organisms have bad impact due to the addition of this CO2 in ocean. it will result in increasing of temperature of the ocean. climate change happen due to acidification. it also affect corals in a negative way. due to global warming water vapor increase 7 %. the precipitation is increasing globally by 1-2 %. it cause heavier rain and increase risk of flooding of rivers. snow pattern is also affected by this. due to Climate change, adaption or migration is occurring worldwide. due to this, biodiversity changes. by heavier rains ice melts and floods people get fresh water. but this will affect the people worser than the current living condition. due to GW, the living habitat of plants and animals would greatly suffer and it will get worse after generations.
