Since the graph is missing but I can assume thag the shaded region would either Z<-0.88 and Z>1.28. Or Z>-0.88 and Z<1.28
Lets consider 1st situation the area below Z= -0.88 calculated by looking in the Z table shown below as 0.1894
And area vive Z=1.28 as 0.100. Now area under the shaded region for first condition would be 0.100+0.189=0.289
Condition 2,
Area above Z=-0.88 will be calculated as 1-0.189=0.811 and also area above Z=1.280 is 0.100 as calculated above , hence area between Z=-0.88 and Z=1.28 as 0.811-0.100=0.711
