As a future nurse, why is it important to understand the powerful influence of your client's environment and not just their genetics (in other words, their nurture, not only their nature)?

As a nurse we are suppose to give a comprehensive care to patient.as we all know a perssons all aspects influence their mental and physical health.it not only relay on the medicine that we give to cure the patient.

Here comprehensive care is important in this aspect understanding the client values in different subject will give a additional benefit in patient treatment and recovery.

As a nurse we may work with different country with different people who as entirely different cultures and values from us.

If you are working in Arab countries they give more priority on privacy and religious concepts.they won't allow to treat by a male staff especially young ladies.also they consider value on religious rituals like person who are end stage.so they get disturbed if the patient dress moved out even if we did it for the benefit of patient .

And also some religious they don't accept blood from others and they are against organ transplant.

In brief it is always better to have clear understanding about local custom and values believe the are that you are working.also tribto make a good rapport with client during the admission itself for better understanding about client and their custom.so it will helps to booster the bonding and communication with staff as well as fasten the recovery of patient.
