How could the MMPI be accurate if the person is not aware that they have DID?
MMPI- Minnesota multiphasic personality inventory. It is a test to identify personality and psychological disorders in people in the society.It has many questions which are divided into scaling according to the level of toughness of the questions. The other is the rorschach inkblot test, which includes the analysis and interpretation of 10 inkblot patterns which describe a particular situation in a contextual situation. The MMPI tests analyzes various disorders like the schizophrenia, personality disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder and social fear and seclusion.
DID- dissociative identity disorder.It affects the personality of the person. It affects the family life,social life and the personal life of the person. The person looses his identity and tends to suffer from memory loss. The patient suffers in this condition due to traumatic situations, mental harrassement and in crime situations. The patient develops fear in the society, with hallucinations,false perceptions and tendency to live in isolation and seclusion. There can be caused due to excessive tendency to drink alcohol, and drug intoxification. The scale analysis is done for identifying the type of disorder and personality deficit in the patient.
