Business is a part of living, and success in both life and business requires developing virtues, some moral and some nonmoral. Some personal qualities thought to be important in life include honesty, courage, sociability, selfawareness, empathy and compassion, discipline, hard work and trustworthiness. The top virtues a business should have are Integrity,Responsibility,Leadership and Fairness.

Honesty and integrity plays major role in any business in order to grow and retain not only your customers in business but also employees. Having the right employees will help you retain good customers and grow your business. A customer who doesn't trust you is unlikely to do business with you. Declaring your company's virtues in vital in order for the better business proposition. Excess of intergity shows that it not revelent and real as it should be.

A business should be responsible to its customers and employees by delivering on its promises. Not only does a business have to consider its bottom line, it also has to take into consideration the impact its operations may have on society and the environment. By gathering ideas from customers, employees and stakeholders business should grow being more responsible. Lack of responsibility shows the idea and values of business which are dangerous for long term for employees and customers.

Training and development is normally a key component of businesses that serve as leaders. When employees are able to share great ideas, it helps your business be an innovator rather than a follower. Companies that lead set an example for others to follow. Leadership is achiving greatness and brightning out greatness in others that is in your employees. lack of leadership means lack of production and struggle to remain competitive.

Fairness means treating all employees and customers with respect and dignity and not using standards for one group of individuals that make others feel as if they are not as valued, favored or important. To ensure your business is treating all employees fairly, make your compensation structure transparent and give everyone an equal opportunity to be recognized, promoted and appeal decisions they consider unfair. If your employees and customers believe that you interact fairly with them, they will remain loyal to your business.
