Malaria is a disease caused by a plasmodium parasite, transmitted by the bite of infected mosquitoes. The parasite mature in the liver cells and destroy the red blood cells.
Prevention of malaria include maintanence of environmemenv hygiene, destroy the breeding places of mosquito, avoid biting of mosquito by using mosquito nets and other ways.
AIDS or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is the end stage of HIV infection. Which is a common sexually transmitted diseases. The AIDS us mainly affect our immune system and altered function of immune system leads to recurrent serious infections and death of patient.
HIV infection mainly transmitted through the sexual contact with affected person, from body fluids and from mother to child.
The prevention of AIDS include use of condoms, avoid sex with more than one partner, avoid sharing of needles etc.
Cholera is the gastrointestinal disorder caused by the vibrio cholerae. Cholera is characterized by watery diarrhea. Severe dehydration occurs due to the loss of fluid from the body. Route of transmission is feco oral route.
To prevent the spread of cholera we need to maintain our personal and environmental hygiene more over maintain food hygiene. Fly's are considered as the transmission agent. Always eat cooked food, cover the food and drink safe water.
Tuberculosis is a respiratory disorder caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. Which is a communicable disease and easily spread to others. TB is a airborne disease. Over crowding and environmental pollutions are the reason for TB. Continuous productive cough more than 2 weeks is the classical sign of TB.
Prevention of TB include avoid exposure to affected persons, avoid the use of tobacco, environmental hygiene etc.
Hepatitis is the inflammation of liver cells. This is of different types such as hepatitis a, B, c, etc.
GepaHepat B can transmitted through body fluids and sexual contact. Others are transmitted through fecooral route. Classic signs including jaundice, fever fatigue etc.
Prevention of hepatitis is by food hygiene use safe drinking water, for hepatitis B avoid contact with body fluids etc.
