1. Group practices by physicians involves 2 or more physicians collaborating from one hospital may be from mixed hospitals.These physicians need not to be from same discipline and can be from different specialities.So group practices have to be a mix of all disciplines to treat all type of health issues.

2. Until 1930 Solo practice is predominant.In 1932 Committee on Cost of medical care recommended physicians group practice to improve access to the health and insurance benefits.American Medical Association also recommended the same and thus Group Physician Practice has started.

3. This process of Group Physician practice affects the physicians economically because salaried physicians cannot be employed here and the physicians of this practice can no more salaried separately except the remuneration they get in the group practice.

4. Yes physicians can leave their private practice and can move off to group practice but they can no more be a private physician having personal practice.
