Plastic surgery performed for cosmetic reasons - Plastic surgeries only with a medical or surgical indication and/or reconstruction purpose (after injury/trauma) are covered under insurance. Plastic surgeries performed for purely cosmetic purpose like breast augmentation, breast reduction without any medical/surgical indication, facelift, nose reduction, liposuction etc are not covered. Rest all options are covered by insurance plans depending upon nature and extent of coverage.
