Contraindication: History of hypersensitivity to other histamine antagonist, hypersentivity to famotidine.

Generic name: Pantoprazole
Class:Proton pump inhibitor
Dose:
Adult:20 to 40 mg once daily for 6 months
Pediatric:20mg orally once daily for 8 weeks.
Side effects: Atrophic gastritis, Steven Johnson syndrome, Rhabdomyolysis, Osteoporosis, Thrombocytopenia, Disorder of muscle
Contraindication: Bronchospasm,Urticaria, Angioedema, Acute interstitial nephritis

d)Reglan
Generic name: Metoclopramide
Class: Antiemetic,Dopamine antagonist
Dose:
Adult:10 to 20 mg Iv every 4 to 6 hrs
Pediatric:10mg Iv slowly over 1 to 2min as a single undiluted dose
Side effects: Body fluid retention,nausea,vomiting, asthenia, neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
Contraindication: Epilepsy, Pheochromocytoma, tardive dyskinesia, Gastrointestinal hemorrhage, Dystonic reaction,breast feeding women
Nursing considerations:
e) Rocephin
Generic name:Ceftriaxone
Class: 3rd generation cephalosporin
Dose:
Side effects: Eosinophilic count raised, Erythema multiforme, Hemolytic anemia, Renal failure, Thrombocytosis, Kernicterus
Contraindication: Concurrent administration of calcium containing IV solutions, Hyperbilirubinemic neonates.
