Why would a security loss prevention manager choose to hire an outside firm to review security operations and make recommendations for changes as well as insurance options rather than conduct the study internally?

Solutions

Expert Solution

A security loss prevention manager would choose to hire an individual or firm from outside to review security operations and make recommendations for changes because that will be fair and from a neutral view which will provide actual feedback. Internal review will not be able to provide neutral view because there will some bias associated with the same and there will also be various perspectives that will differ from one individual to another. Hiring a professional consultant will make the process better and serve the cause as well.
