Use the standard normal table to find the z-score that corresponds to the cumulative area 0.1190. If the area is not in the table, use the entry closest to the area. If the area is halfway between two entries, use the z-score halfway between the corresponding z-scores.

So, P(Z<=z)=0.1190
We found from the z-score table that for z= -1.18, the cumulative area is 0.1190 ,
i. e. P(Z<= -1.18)= 0.1190
So, the required z-score is (-1.18)
