1.Many risk factors contribute to the development of diseases .In this lifestyle diseases are mostly related to these risk factors.
Age related risk factors :as age advances there is higher risk for coronary artery disease, cerebrovasular disease, fracture of long bones,malignancy.
Environmental risk :it includes food habits also. High fat consumption, lack of exercise, lack of sleep, can be risk factors for diabetes, hypertension ,coronary artery disease. Lack of hygiene can cause infectious disease.
Behavioural risk factors :excess anger, short temper, can cause excess stress and anxiety.
2.Health education is an important tool to decrease the risk. Tell the family members about healthy Food intake, safe drinking water, proper sanitisation. The importance of exercise should be emphasised.practicing yoga can reduce stress and anxiety. Psychological counseling whenever needed should be provided. Danger about taking alcohol and smoking should conveyed.
