Explain why the Friend of the Court was for or against Medicaid expansion or mandated health insurance policy under the ACA in the amicus brief.

There was a lot of concern about the medicaid expansion because of the fact that the court found the ACA’s Medicaid expansion unconstitutionally coercive of states as the states did not have adequate notice to voluntarily consent to such a change in the expansion and all of a state’sexisting federal Medicaid funds potentially were at risk for non-compliance on the whole. That is the reason why the court is against the policy.
