(a) Yes, it is importent to assess a person by his/her strenghts related to the physical and other existing attributes. We know that to conduct social work we have to be well aware of the economic , educational , social and political influence ; however in practice a person can only be assistst to provide correct information if his/her medical wellness is in line with the moto of conducting social work.So,to assess a person we have to make sure of the fact that medical as well as health related hygienic measures are kept intact .

(b) 1. The power-based approach evaluates the ability, skills, knowledge, connection and feasibility between individuals, communities and communities.

2. To focus on strenghts is not meant to ignore the challenges .

3. Literature is examined that it is difficult to synthesize prove of power-based methods due to the different populations and problem areas.
