Dear [Recipients Name],
Before anything else, I would like to thank you for all of the
work you have done on the contract you sent me. I have gone through
it and have found most of the provisions to be beneficial to all
the parties involved. I would, however, like to clarify a point
that was made in the first part of the section on compensation.
There is nothing wrong with it per se, but I feel that the phrasing
may be too vague and can cause some disputes in the future. As
such, I would like to suggest that we revise it so that it
explicitly states that there is a 10-hour weekly limit for overtime
work, and anything that goes beyond that cannot be included in the
regular computation for overtime pay.
Please let me know what you think about this. I look forward to
your reply, as well as to finalizing the contract at the soonest
possible time.
Sincerely,
