Health care in Canada is delivered through the provincial and territorial systems of publicly funded healthcare,informally called MEDICARE.It is guided by the provisions of the Canadian Health Act of 1984 ,and is universal.The various levels of government pay for about 70% of Canadian health care.By far the largest government health program is Medicare,which is actually ten provincial programs,such as OHIP in ONTARIO,That are required to meet the general guidelines laid out in the federal Canada Health Act .Almost all government health spending goes through Medicare,but there are several smaller spending groups such as military and inmates of federal prisons.The five conditions listed in the Canadian Health Care act are public,administration,accessibility,comprehensiveness,universality and portability.Through these five conditions, the health insurance and health care personnels go through, inorder to ensure that the required health needs of citizen is met.However,care to be taken in account for :-low wait times,consideration cost of living,consideration of rural area people; relating to health insurance .
