B. The employee could be required to accept a lower position in the same company.
C. It requires the former employee to take the first job available.
D. The individual is expected to accept a lower-level job in another company to reduce his loss.
Ans (Option A) It requires the former employee to take reasonable steps to find comparable employment. Generally companies give reasonable notice or compensation in lieu to employees so that they can find new job.
(Option B) The employee could be required to accept a lower position in the same company. No, this is not a good option because this decision decreases the value and respect of an employee in peer group.
(Option C) It requires the former employee to take the first job available. Sometimes employee get unwanted jobs first time, this is not correct option because doing job is a long term process.
(Option D) The individual is expected to accept a lower-level job in another company to reduce his losses. This is also not a good option because taking job means we will continue it for a long period of time. An employee can never be happy and satisfied at lower-level job than earlier one.
