It’s not difficult to identify some negatives in the use of standards in the service world – time allocated by the insurance company to our visit with our doctor, for example. But can you identify some positives that come from the use of standards in service?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Some positives coming from use of standards in service are :

I) standards help in retaining customers who are an efficient contributor to the running of business.

2) It helps in building healthy relations with the client, who are indirectly the one who promotes the business.

3) good standards will bring customer satisfaction. It will help build trust and customers will again avail those services and also would recommend others to avail these services too. This way customer is also a promotor.

4) wherever poor service is been felt by customers they build a negative impact regarding that in their mind and start avoiding to avail those services.

5) after services being provided, people give feedbscks, and if service is not good, feedback will also not be good, and that feedback can be seen by anyone. It is not good for the reputation of service.

6) once these standards are met, one tries to improve its services more and thus becomes a great effective team.

7) bad service will give chances to some other service renders rather than you, to serve the population and the importance of your services decrease.

Hence we saw the positives of maintaining good standard in services.
