There have been several recent cases of a CEO or CFO resigning or being ousted for misrepresenting academic credentials. For instance, during February 2006, the CEO of RadioShack resigned by “mutual agreement” for inflating his educational background. During 2002, Veritas Software Corporation’s DFO resigned after claiming to have an MBA from Stanford University. On the other hand, Bausch & Lomb Inc.’s board refused the CEO’s offer to resign following a questionable claim to have an MBA. Suppose you have been...

Complete the four cases using your individually assigned values for the variables. Be very careful to use your individually assigned variables. Your answers will be graded as wrong, if you use the wrong variables. Use the time value tables found in your textbook when required to show your work (use the same method as I did in class). Do NOT use finance calculators, excel formulas, etc. to calculate values. You can round to the nearest dollar. Case #1 ( 20...

Computing Equivalent Units of Production Using the data given for Cases 1–3 below, and assuming the use of the average cost method, compute the separate equivalent units of production—one for materials and one for labor and overhead—under each of the following assumptions (labor and factory overhead are applied evenly during the process in each assumption): Assumptions: All materials go into production at the beginning of the process. All materials go into production at the end of the process. (Note that...
