Public health can be described as the science of preventing the disease occurrence, improving the quality of life and deliver medical care through the organized efforts of the individuals, organizations and the community. Public health has significant socio, economic and political impact, the following is the review of those components in public health:
1. Sociological impact on public health: Public health has the social component at the center of it. Various parts of the society such as genders, ethnicity, race, immigration status, culture has an effect on public health. For any public health program to be implemented not only the prevalence to the disease but the community structure and requirement play a key role in the implementation and delivery of public health interventions. The societal outreach and need to the intervention determines the failure or success of the programs. Also, the outlook and perception of the society regarding the healthcare is a critical area which has direct impact on getting healthcare benefits and intervention which should be seriously considered in pubic health
2. Economic impact on public health: Economy plays a significant role in the access of healthcare and the implementation of the public health policies and their implementation. The public health behaves in conjunction with the state of the economy. For example when the economy is booming, we see increase the number of healthcare insurers and modernization of healthcare taking place and improvement in the healthcare delivery too. but when the economy is hit like currently in pandemic insinuator, we observe unemployment, poverty, cash crush and this leads to many households not able to get healthcare and insurance. This directly affects the society and the prevalence is likely to be increased and directly affecting public health
3. Politics in Public health: The politics play a key role in the management and formulation of pubic health measures. The political representatives belonging to various communities and society, formulate policies based on the public health requirement such as immunizations, free clinics, regulated pharmaceutical drug pricing, capping of essential drug costs, etc. Politics is essential to be involved as it helps to create a framework and a clear direction of public healthcare interventions and assessment by making policies, programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, etc which has a larger outreach and helps in disease prevalence and prevention that helps the entire society,
