A power supply produces voltage described as V= 100sin(60t). what is the average value of this...

A power supply produces voltage described as V= 100sin(60t). what is the average value of this voltage and what is the average voltage squared?
The average voltage is supposed to be 0V and then the avg voltage squared is supposed to be 5000 V^2 which makes zero sense to me. Thanks!

Average voltage must be zero as it is "Alternating voltage(as Power supply voltage contains Sine term)". In AC ,after each cycle its sign changes.hence average will be zero(as +ve and -ve cancels each other) but when we square them ,-ve part of AC Voltage will also become +ve .Hence,For average square voltage it must have some definite value not 0 (Like the average value) which is calculated by :As, Root mean square voltage is given by V​​​​​​0/√2 .

For average square voltage it must be square of RMS voltage.Avergae square :(Vo)^2/2=(100)^2/2=5000V^2 .
