Victoria Estate (VIC-RE) is interested in the growing tourism market and open an office to launch services for people who travel on holidays and cannot look after their properties (houses or units) while they are away. This new office currently has 7 employees whose PCs are linked by a small LAN. Each PC shares files and services (such as printing) to the others on the LAN. What type of network model is suitable to build a small LAN for this new office? Describe the advantage and disadvantage of this model.
For this purpose we will be using the client server network model where all the PCs will be connected to a single server and they will be able to share files and services in a much moe efficient way and keeping the security and performance checks in place , here the server will be the main center for all the PCs to communicate with each other.
Advantages:
Client Server Network has incorporated control. i.e, unified client records, security, and admittance to rearrange network organization.
It doesn't back off with substantial use.
The size of the organization can be extended to any measure.
Legitimate Management: All the records are put away in a similar spot. Along these lines, the administration of records turns out to be simple. Likewise, it gets simpler to discover records.
As all the information is put away on the worker it's anything but difficult to make a back-up of it.
Lessens Data Replication-Data put away on the workers rather than
every customer, so it lessens the measure of information replication for the application.
Disadvantages:
A specialist working framework is required.
Worker disappointment prompts the entire organization disappointment.
It is extravagant to introduce and oversee as devoted equipment (Server) and extraordinary programming is required.
Proficient IT individuals are needed to keep up the workers and other specialized subtleties of the organization.
