1. YES, professional ethics is different from personal ethics.

Professional ethics : It refers to the ethics that a person must adhere to in respect of their interactions and business dealings in their professional life.These involve a strict code of conduct laid down at the workplace. Ethics here involve adherence to rules and regulations. Non-compliance to such rules may risk your reputation , because your behaviour will immediately be reported as brash and unprofessional. Personal views and concerns do not help in corporate setting , what matter is how well you follow the protocol of the company.

Personal ethics: It refers to the ethics that a person identified with in respect to people and situations that they deal with in everyday life. These involves your moral and values. They are instilled during childhood by parents , friends . They relate to deep principles, and how religiously you follow them determines the what kind of person you are. Nature of pesonal ethics depend on whether your principles have an optimistic effect on people surrounding you i.e strict adherence to principles must not spoil someone else's life.
