Eco-friendly actions:

Any activity undertaken by an individual or an organisation to conserve planet Earth are called Eco-friendly actions.

Eco-friendly is also termed as reducing or banning the products which cause harm to the environment.

Eco-friendly or environmental friendly suggests the use of only those items which can be recycled.

We can save the environment by following the below actions:

  1. Say no to plastic: This is the most harmful product for the mother earth. This product must be banned or at least we must use it minimally.
  2. Reduce the use of harmful chemical fertilizers: Natural compost must be encouraged.
  3. Afforestation: Plant more and more trees as possible to improve the green cover.
  4. Conserve water: Save water by taking shorter showers, washing with less and cold water, controlling water pollution etc.
  5. Save fossil fuels: Fossil fuels cannot be produced again. So try to save them for future generations by using them wisely.
  6. Conserve power: Save power by turning off lights when not in use, use LED bulbs.
  7. Don’t waste food
  8. Protect wildlife: Wildlife protection is also an important aspect to achieve an eco-friendly environment. This can be achieved by eating less meat etc.
  9. Stop littering
  10. Educate others: The least we can do is educating others on environmental protection. Encourage to buy used products rather than opting new products. Three things to remember are 3R’s Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Civic Responsibility:

Civic responsibility is the social responsibility of a citizen. It includes helping other people, volunteering, and protecting the rights of the nation and its democratic values. These values or rights include justice, equality, privacy, diversity and inclusion, truth, patriotism, self-respect etc.

Civic education is important in current situation to enlighten the other people with the democratic values of the nation.

Moral equilibrium:

Moral equilibrium is the standards which we set for our life and which we are practising practically.

If we do some thing negative we feel to get an opportunity to prove ourselves and act positively the other time.

This sort of equilibrium between both positive and negative moral standards which we set is called moral euilibrium.

Moral Licensing:

Moral licensing refers to the facts which one feel are positive for themselves but in fact in general sense they are immoral. For example: If a person does theft in the past and he feels it is right. But it is something immoral in society. This sort of mentality of few people is called Moral licensing.
