T. is a 34-year-old white man who presents with diarrhea of 2 days’ duration. His other symptoms are nausea with vomiting and blood stools for 1 day. The history reveals that the patient has just returned from a 3-day honeymoon in Mexico. He was careful to eat steaming hot foods and beverages but did have a frozen drink the last night of the trip.

The patient is exhibiting sympotoms of Travelers' diarrhea.
*The Specific goals for the patient :
1.Fluid replacement
2.Anti- motility drugs .
3.Antibiotics .
* Medications for travelers’ diarrhea.
1.Antibiotics may be used to treat cases of moderate travelers’
diarrhea.
2.Fluoroquinolones may be used to treat moderate travelers’
diarrhea.
3.Azithromycin may be used to treat moderate travelers’
diarrhea.
4.Rifaximin may be used to treat moderate, noninvasive travelers’
diarrhea.
5.Loperamide may be used as adjunctive therapy for moderate to
severe travelers’ diarrhea. Antimotility agents alone are not
recommended for patients with bloody diarrhea or those who have
diarrhea and fever.
6.Loperamide may be considered for use as monotherapy in moderate
travelers’ diarrhea.

1. Patient exhibits normal bowel pattern .
2. Check the skin tourger as well as the capillary
refilling time to know whether the dehydration is resolved or not
.
3. Patient will verbalize , about how he feels .
