If we propose a new theory or idea (say a cosmic model) which got no mathematical proof of it's own but the theory uses previous mathematically solved and proved theories like Relativity and which sounds completely logical considering all the proved theories are applied correctly to it. Can we copyright this idea and ensure that nobody can steal it in the near future? Can this idea actually come into the limelight and be a topic of discussion. If so, how can it be done? Please help me out. Can I post this idea somewhere reliable where nobody could steal as such. (Considering the idea would actually be a good one)
The answer of your copyright issue would be to publish a thesis under your name and any other professor/scholar that you have worked with in this project,or write a research paper if you have done the work alone.
Coming to the idea/"model" which you supposedly don't have proof of, I can say there exists many.
Take for example the Bose -Einstein condensation. It still hasn't been proved that Bose Einstein condensates for general interacting systems.
I can name some more.
Does a multiverse exist?
Why is there more matter than anti-matter?
Many such problems has not been solved yet.
A more recent event that led to the discovery of Gravitational waves.Poincare proposed(mind you didn't proved) the existence of such waves back in 1905.Subsequently this was predicted by Einstein in 1916 in his theory of General Relativity and detected more recently in 2015.
As nobody stole Poincare/Einstein's idea and it came into limelight, you can also hope your idea/"model" will also become popular provided your work is good enough to entice the brilliant minds that we have around ourselves.
I would advice you not to post such idea in social/public forums. Take up your work, write down a thesis/paper.
