In America, there are professional lobbyists, individuals who offer their services at a fee, because of their proficiency. Lobbyists could be employed by interest groups or individuals with motives in the country (McDonald, 2016). Interest groups hire these individuals so that they can be persuasive towards the legislators to introduce laws that will be favorable for them.

Lobbyists are hired because of their efficiency. Most lobbyists know the best channels, the best methods, and therefore produce better results than other parties. It would be advisable for any group to hire lobbyists because they are efficient and guarantee results. Lobbyists are also employed because of their vast knowledge of the policies, and the politics that surround the legislators (McDonald, 2016). A lobbyist will know the best way to approach and change the mind of an official because of the knowledge they have on the person, research, and expertise.

Lobbyists are also cost-effective when it comes to their work. Lobbyists are cost-effective for their employers, changing the policies that affect their employers in a shorter time. Moreover, through their influence, the lobbyists could create an environment for their employers that will give them dominance for years (McDonald, 2016). Lobbyists are also considered for their jobs because of experience. Through their experience, they do their jobs faster, which is cost-friendly for their employers.
