Caribbean plantation economies depends on the plantation model. The plantation model identifies rural and urban activities as components of the residentiary sector and the only evidence of structural transformation as lessening of the legacy of the slave economy.

In the Caribbean economy social development influence collective dialogue where it comprises two or more cultures, set with two or more objective and it avoid the unilateral imposition of a single choice and to reach agreement through negotiations and social development is less concerned with the tasks undertaken by society.Planning should be concerned in society where we can participate in everyday exercise from grass root level.
