Our Sample has 10 complete schedule and 3 limited schedule teams. We are looking to interview first 3 complete and then 2 limited schedule teams next week. How many different interview schedules could we create? [Hint: How many “steps” and how many choices at each “step” do we have?]
total number of different interview schedules we could create = total number of ways to schedule first 3 complete teams * total number of ways to schedule 2 limited teams
= 10C3 * 3C2
= (10! / (3! * (10 - 3)!)) * (3! / (2! * (3 - 2)!))
= 120 * 3
= 360
