Predation, parasitism is a type of consumer resource interaction but unlike, predators, parasites with the exception of parasitoides are typically much smaller then their hosts donot kill them and often live in OR on their host for an extended period.

The other natural mechanism but typically roles on predation ,parasitism, herbivory or natural mechanism but typically involved an active human mechanism action.

Natural enemies of insects pest also known as biological control agent including parasitiods, pathogens, and competitors.

Predators and prey species both have adaption benificial features arising by natural selection these defence maybe mechanical, chemical physical or behavioral.

Chemical defenses are produced by many animals as well as plants such as foxglove, which is extremely toxic when eaten.

Many special use their body shape and coloration to avoid being detected by predators for example the chameleon which can change its colour to match it's surrounding.both of these are comoulflague.

Some species use coloration in an opposite way as mean to warm predators that they are not good to eat ex-Mephitis mephities.

Some species are evolved in mimic or copy other species. For example wasps or bees.
