The list of five criteria for a CEO who manages diversity and inclusion effectively as a strategic goal is:
1. Being accountable for diversity issues: The CEO should be accountable for any matter (good or bad) related to the diversity of employee and the firm.
2. A Broad perspective: The CEO should have a broad perspective on the issue of diversity. They should address the issues of racial and gender diversity in their organizational culture.
3. Leading by example: The actions of the CEO will represent his reach and mental attachment to the issue of diversity. He should work hard for the issue and not only to create a name.
4. Implement diversity in the firm: The CEO should foster the diversity in his organization throughout in all verticals. The CEO should plan, implement and control the campaigns to hire and retain more female employees.
5. Promoting opportunity for all: The women and minority should get equal opportunity to grow in the firm and get promoted for the hard work they have put in to make projects successful. The CEO must look for their holistic development in the firm by providing equal opportunity to grow for all.
