Research the Internet (using credible sources). How does SARS-CoV-2 attack our respiratory system?
Answer:- All respiratory system are responsible for the exchange of gases. There is a respiratory tree in our lungs called as bronchial tree,it is named so because of branch like structure in our lungs which increases the bronchi right down to the tiny air sacs called alveoli. If a person is infected by SARS-CoV-2, we can track SARS-CoV-2 when the lining of the respiratory chain becomes damage leads to irritating the nerves in lining of the air ways and dry cough occurs. However in small amount of people this infection can cause problem in air exchange through respiratory system.Gas exchange occurs around the alveoli, there are tiny air sacs called alveoli through which oxygen passes into the blood and carbon-di-oxide passes from the blood into the alveoli and comes out.If the person is infected by SARS-CoV-2 the respiratory system get affected and body becomes less capable to take in oxygen and get rid of carbon-di-oxide at a time and some people needs ventilated to breath.
