Describe in a few sent. how the bone, joint and cartilage relate to one another.
answer- Our skeletal system is a combination of muscles, bones, cartilage, joints and bursae etc.
joints- Joints are also called as articulations. the are formed where the surface of more than one one bone meet each other the joints are formed. there are around 400 joints in human body.Joints are classified by the tissue which connects them.the tissue can be cartilage, fibrous tissue, synovial fluid or combination of these three.Cartilage or connective tissue is very important because it provide support to a joint. it is less hard or rigid than a bone.bone is hard tissue that forms the skeletal structure of the body. the cartilage is very flexible and rubbery located at the end of bones which act as cushions and protects the bones where they meet and rub against each other in a joint. bones are held together in the joint. so in short our body is made up of bones and muscles. to held up the body structure the joints and cartilage play very import role by providing support.
