Sam buys a bag of charcoal from Utama Jaya so that his family can enjoy themselves sitting around the fireplace in their flat. Unfortunately, the bag of charcoal contained an explosive device which exploded when Sam lit the fire. Sam was badly injured. Advise Sam. (business law)

Utama Jaya sold bag of charcoal to Sam.Then Sam thought of enjoying with family by sitting around fireplace made by charcoal which he purchased from Utama Jaya.Sam wasn't aware that there was an explosive device in charcoal and when he lit the charcoal,it exploded by which Sam was badly injured.Now,Sam has a right to sue Utama Jaya on various points.Sam can sue Utama Jaya under an act which punishes the person for selling such explosive devices.Utama Jaya can be even sued under an act of products liability on the point of selling defective goods. Generally,a seller who commits such mistakes are sued for trading illegal products,selling defective products without informing the buyer about the explosion and for causing threat to the life of a person.Buyer can sued and file a case on seller on all these points under various sections.In the same way,Sam can be advised to file a case against Utama Jaya in the court for selling wrong goods,illegeal products and for causing threat to life of Sam.Court will investigate and if it is proved that Utama jaya is liable for all the mistakes then he should pay fine for the loss of Sam.

Therefore,Sam would be advised to do file case and by this Utama Jaya might be severely punished for trading illegal explosive goods and causimg threat to life of people.
