a) H2AsO3 and H2AsO4
H2AsO4 is a strong acid since the oxidation state of As is +6 but in H2AsO3 is only +4. If the central atom Oxidation state increses then it will become strong acid. So Strong acid is H2AsO4.
b) H2S and HCl
HCl can donate H+ ion very easily compared to H2S. Since Cl has high electro negativity so it can gain bonding electrons and releases H+ ion easily Hence answer is HCl.
c) HI, HBr
HI is stong acid because the size of Iodine is large so the bond dissociation energy is very less and easily remove of H+ ion from compound compare to HBr.
d) H2SO3 and H2SO4
H2SO4 is a strong acid since the oxidation state of S is +6 but in H2SO3 is only +4. If the central atom Oxidation state increses then it will become strong acid. So Strong acid is H2SO4.
e) HClO and HClO3
HClO3 is a strong acid since the oxidation state of Cl is +5 but in HClO is only +1. If the central atom Oxidation state increses then it will become strong acid. So Strong acid is HClO3.
