Nowadays the cost for health care is increased. In hospital and also in health care delivery system, the cost of treatment is highly increased due to advancement in technology and medical science. The cost effective care is difficult to practice , nowadays. Each and every patient wants specialized and high-tech care. The use of items and equipments for each patient is increased. The use of disposal items are much increased, inorder to avoid infection. So to control infection we need to maintain separate items for each and every patient. Common usage of items like hand rub , thermometer etc are impossible nowadays. We are using separate thermometer , separate hand rub etc for all the patients. And moreover the technology like advanced medical care and advanced medical treatment are increased. Patients are highly interested to role out the cause by availing high quality medical services and treatment. The usage of disposable items like gloves are also lead to increase cost of medical services. So if we use glove for one patient, better do what are all the care needed for that patient to minimize the number of gloves being used. Then do hand hygiene and we can proceed to next patient. The cost of medical services can be reduced by following cost effective care.
