Solutions

Expert Solution

When voting for a political candidate one must not be only worried about self interests . If students vote because the person has promised to lower tuition fees , if workers vote because the person will raise minimum wages etc then the welfare of the whole country cannot be achieved . So while voting for a political candidate we must keep in mind that the candidate must have agendas for the welfare of the society and economic welfare of the whole country .

We must see whether the person favours foreign assistance budget which helps in infrastructural developments . The person should have well devised agendas to fight economic shocks , natural diasters affecting the economy . The person must be committed in removing wage gaps , inequality in income , standard of living etc . Not only enlargement of the size of the economy but also equal division of the benefits should be the motive . Lastly we must look for the knowledge of that person regarding attainment of economic stability , development of human capital , fostering growth etc .
