During stress the immune system lowered because of the increase in the level of stress hormone in the body such as corticosteroid which suppress the immune system function. Diarrhea or frequent defecation tendency shown by the person during stress. So it affect the GI system. Person may feed less due to the stress and it lead to malnurishment.
During stress metabolic rate or activities increases and because of this the body tissues need more blood to do metabolic activities and heart pump more blood and blood pressure increases but it is not by the action of GI system.
