wound evisceration is the condition in which the the incision breaks and internal content protrude or come out through the incision. It is a rare condition and it may be caused because of the failure of stuturing or by excessive stress on the incision.
Postoperatively the incision should be sutured properly, while in some cases the suturing become failure or the knot failure leads to opening of the incision and through the incision the internal content protruded into outer.
The second major cause of wound evisceration was stressfull activities such as powerful coughing, sneezing or any movement on the incision part will leads to the breaking of suture and opening of the incision.
