This study performed to assess the strategies for decreasing rate of fall among patients older than 65 years of age. Falls are a common adverse event experienced by elderly in hospitals. World wide , fall are one of the most commonly reported adverse events in hospitals with prevalence rate in the order of 10 per 1,000 patient days or 5% - 15% of the patients are associated with both minor and major injuries. Falls are a main cause of morbidity and disability in the elderly morethan one-third of person 65 years or older fall each year and in half of such cases ,the falls are recurrent.
