Through the years criminologists have developed theories as to why humans commit crimes. However, it was not until Adler & Simon that attention has been consistently given to females and crime. (a) Discuss in detail one early criminologist’s view (pre-1950s) and one modern day (post-1950s) researcher’s work/research on females and crime.

a)Early theories of crime occurence developed by criminologists include---1)choice theory--it depends solely on the mentality and willingness of the person to commit crime and become a criminal 2)classical theory--it functions in situations in which the person interprets and analyses before-hand that it will be advantageous to commit a crime, however what so ever may be the consequences of crime 3)conflict theory--it emerges from the occurence of rivalry and mistrust among the different people living in the same society due to development of mentality related to personal benefits. 4)critical theory--supposes crime to occur due in sufferings caused to laborers in company due to unjustified cut in wages or misfortunate behavior against women and children in society 5)labeling theory--it is the criminal offense related to social stigma and naming of persons as culprits by people in society due to mental disability and disorders.It was common in 1950,1960,and prevalence was more in such scenarios and situations 6)positivist theory--it depends upon the thinking of person to commit the crime as it occurs in the mentality of that person that one has to perform the crime for the eventual benefit of that person 7)routine activist theory--it depennds upon the circumstances occuring that the crime has to happen and is inevitable depending that a person or a girl is beautiful and is not giving way for friendship of not talking enough to entertain the concerned boy who has a chance to get involved in crime due to ignorance in establishing friendly relationships 8)social control theory--it depends on establishing rules involved for preventing crime and transmission of information related to indulgence of culprit in crime.
