Social responsibility means that individuals and companies have a duty to act in the best interests of their environment and society as a whole. Social responsibility, as it applies to business, is known as corporate social responsibility (CSR).

As an Employer the owners of Nursing Homes have responsibilities for the health and safety of their employees. It is their duty to take appropriate measures are taken to protect the health and hygiene of the healthcare workers. If we talk from view point of Social Responsibility then also management has a duty to act in best interests of society. So, it is the moral duty of management to take conctrete steps to prevent the spread of Covid 19. This will be beneficial not only for the workers but for society as a whole. Management should provide necessary equipments like face shields, PPE Kits, face masks, sanitizers etc to safeguard the safety of the workers.

To conclude the Management has dual responsibility, one from the viewpoint of a responsible employer who should take proper steps to ensure safety of emplyees from harmful effects of Covid 19, also it has a social responsibility to protect society and citizens from the pandemic.
